Uptown Dogs is simply the BEST dog walking service. I have lived on the Upper East Side for 5+ years and have used numerous dog walking apps and private walkers, but during COVID19 I found Uptown Dogs and have been using them exclusively for almost 6 months. They are respectful, reliable, timely, willing to work around my busy schedule, and my pup absolutely adores Marcelo! I have a 6+ year old pitbull/lab mix and she benefits from long walks/runs, which the Uptown Dogs team is happy to take her on. Marcelo consistently goes out of his way to take truly outstanding care of my pup, always making sure she has water, food and is comfortably situated in my apartment, especially after those snowy/rainy walks and runs. The service provides location updates to track walk progress and pictures/videos of my pup during every walk, which always brightens my work day. Uptown Dogs is a truly unparalleled dog walking service and I will continue using them as long as I live on the UES!

Uptown dogs has offered outstanding services to my dog Robbie and I. I trust him which is so important for me. I plan to use Uptown dogs for a long time. I always leave Robbie with them when I travel and don’t have worries. He is detail oriented and accountable. My dog is high energy sometimes and Marcello handles him well. I would trust Uptown dogs with my dog and my apt any day.

Marcelo has been my dog walker for months and it’s always a pleasure to work with them. It’s a struggle to get my dog out while I’m busy at work, but with Marcelo I don’t have to worry about a thing. He is great with Lucy and is an incredibly nice guy. Every time he comes to my apartment, Lucy could not be more excited to see him. I have had issues with dog walkers in the past but Marcelo is the best there is. I would highly recommend anyone looking for someone to walk their dog to go to Uptown dogs and you won’t be disappointed.

Uptown dogs are the best! They are reliable and flexible. They take our dog Sky on super long walks and really tires her out which is helpful since she’s an Aussie Shepard mix and really needs to get her energy out! Highly rec.

“Five Stars from Warren (and his Person)” When I decided to get a high energy puppy (Shetland sheepdog and Australian shepherd), I KNEW a reliable, excellent dog walker would be a must given my work schedule. I didn’t want a carousel of walkers showing up at my door from day to day with varying levels of experience, and it was really important to me that my walker had experience and was committed to their clients. Warren, my crazy puppy, and I both LOVE Uptown Dogs. Warren SPRINGS out the door and into Marcelo’s arms every day, and always comes home tuckered out and ready to curl up on top of my feet. And I love that Marcello is consistent, has an open line of communication and was willing to work with my schedule, but most of all, I love that Warren loves him! I’ve heard enough horror stories of dog walkers to have been very careful in making my choice to use Uptown dogs , and we couldn’t be happier.

If perfection does exist in Manhattan daily doggy care, it’s Uptown Dogs based on the Upper East Side. Marcelo, the owner/manager sets the bar for kind, concerned, gentle knowledgeable care including walking, babysitting and boarding. He reads the animal personality immediately and really loves to play and protect — sun, rain, snow, he is consistently on time and delivers home a happy pet after each session. He is open to customizing walks such as special request to hit Central Park or a particularly favored route. I have high standards and Marcelo hits them to a tee.
